Remote or onsite: 70% onsite, 30% remote


Scoring:
20% - Cost
15% - Years direct work experience as a Web Developer
25% - Development Tools and Skill levels
30% - Developer Roles and Experience on Systems and Projects.
10% - Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge and Experience


Preferred/required skills:
Minimum 5 years work experience as a Web Developer on medium to large scale, mission critical systems or projects.
Remote internet, remote workspace, remote peripherals
Must be geographically located within the State of Utah, and able to conveniently work in a hybrid model of in-office and remote
Current hours of work are scheduled 40 hours per week, 32 hours in weeks with observed holidays (exceptions must be approved in advance)

Special considerations:

  • Direct experience employed as a programmer developing and maintaining computer
  • software applications and programs using Web languages, tools and
  • technologies, including: Java 11 & 21, Spring / Spring Boot 2.6 and 3, Spring
  • JDBC HTML, CSS3, SASS, Angular, PWAs, JPA, JavaScript / TypeScript,
  • REST APIs and distributed architecture patterns.
  • Useful skills and technologies for maintenance of older applications: Java 8, Struts (1 &
  • 2) , Hibernate 3 / JPA, jQuery, jQuery DataTables 1.8-1.12, Subversion, Ant
  • Experience with Figma Material Design to Angular code conversion a plus.
  • Direct participation as a principal web developer on projects building or maintaining
  • mission-critical applications for medium to large size private or public organizations (i.e
  • 1,000 or more employees).
  • Experience with Informix databases, SQL databases, other relational databases,
  • Business Intelligence tools and applications, development for mobile devices,
  • and/or other emerging technologies.
  • Training and experience with development methods and approaches to application
  • security.
  • Direct experience as a web developer on systems operational within the criminal justice
  • field (e.g. Courts, Public Safety, Local Law Enforcement, Corrections, Parole Boards,
  • Criminal Justice Commissions, etc.)
  • Certifications and qualifications in the computer science field.
