Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Tier 2 End User Support Technician to join our Desktop Support team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues. If you have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with remote support tools, and enjoy delivering hands-on assistance, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and configurations.
  • Use remote support tools (e.g., Bomgar) to diagnose and resolve issues; escalate when necessary.
  • Document all activities and resolutions in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 support and other technical teams for efficient issue resolution.
  • Support and manage Apple macOS and iOS devices; experience with MDM solutions like Intune is a plus.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in desktop or Tier 2 technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, peripherals) and software applications.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., Bomgar) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Apple devices and MDM solutions such as Intune.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements in enterprise IT environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
