Job Title: Security Project Manager
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Pay Rate: Hourly rate will be determined based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Security Project Manager to lead large-scale physical security projects in highly regulated, mission-critical environments. This role involves managing the installation, integration, and maintenance of advanced Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and high-resolution Video Management Systems (VMS) using technologies from top vendors such as Lenel, Genetec, Axis, Milestone, and Avigilon.
You'll work closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to zero-downtime protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with clients and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with Method of Procedure (MOP) and BICSI standards
  • Oversee installation of specialized security hardware including biometric systems and mantraps
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders
  • Create and manage project documentation and reporting
  • Drive client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
  • Build and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all job sites

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, security integration, or technical roles within a systems integration environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently

Preferred:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • PMP certification or Professional Engineering designation (not required but beneficial)

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and documentation
  • Comfortable working in both office and construction site environments
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites; occasional overnight travel may be required

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amarillo, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $63.00/hr.
