Senior UI / Full Stack Developer (React + Java/Spring Boot)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance modern React-based user interfaces and data visualization components.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Support migration initiatives from Java 8 to Java 21.
• Develop capabilities related to data governance, metadata management, reporting, and data lineage.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Create and enhance APIs, backend integrations, and service components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, user story refinement, and sprint planning activities.
• Collaborate directly with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and support automated testing efforts.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience supporting Java migration projects, preferably Java 8 to newer versions.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Ability to understand and model complex data relationships.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience testing and validating code to ensure quality and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data governance, metadata management, or data lineage platforms.
• Experience building graph-based applications or data visualization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries.
• Strong UI/UX mindset with the ability to build intuitive user experiences.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
