Senior Frontend Developer

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer that will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using ReactJS on Node/Rails servers. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be a strong contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for our client, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. You will participate in architecture, design, and implementation of these applications. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience building innovative web applications in ReactJS.

Responsibilities for the Senior Frontend Developer include:

• Responsible for requirements definition, design and implementation of front-end applications using ReactJS.
• Responsible for contributing to and being a champion of front-end architecture.
• Responsible for working with business owners to propose high-quality user experience solutions for desktop and mobile web applications.
• Responsible for working with the configuration management and administration teams to provide accurate build and deployment instructions.
• Responsible for working with tertiary groups such as Security, Architecture, IT Operations, and QA to ensure quality design, delivery, and adherence to corporate standards.
• Develop web-based user interfaces, applications, and consume Web Services.
• Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project.
• Work with third-party tools and marketing platforms for various marketing needs.

Qualifications for the Senior Front-End Developer include:

• BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience
• 8+ years of overall web development experience, preferably secure, scalable web applications in ReactJS, and 6+ years of proven experience with JavaScript.
• Experience in client-side coding using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
• Experience with AJAX, XML, JSON, and useful Design Patterns
• A "can do" attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints.

Compensation for the Senior Front-End Developer includes:

• Salary Range: $182,000-$198,000 + yearly bonus
• Full Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k with match via ADP Retirement, Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), bonus, and shares.
• This position can sit in Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA
