Aircraft Mission Management Software Integration Engineering Team
The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, advancing the Army's assault capabilities.
The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army's tactical advantage in future conflicts.

The Mission Management Software Engineer is responsible for oversight of the onboard mission management software development.

The Mission Management Software Engineer is responsible for oversight of the onboard mission management software development.
What you'll be doing as Mission Management Software Integration Engineer:
- Review and manage software requirements, including technical and quality reviews of subcontractor software requirements
- Participate in execution of DO-178 processes for subsystem software development, certification and fielding
- Integrate subsystem software into larger mission system
- Develop subsystem test plans and procedures for subsystem acceptance testing, functional testing, integration testing and formal verification testing
- Install subcontractor software in the systems integration laboratory
- Perform test procedures, document results, perform data analyses, and author test reports
- Track and manage subsystem software deficiencies and other trouble reports
- Oversee subcontractor correction of software deficiencies
- Review all subcontractor software documentation, software source code and executables
- Provide software support to flight test team
Skills You Bring To this Role:
- Software requirements development and management
- Requirements management in DOORS or CAMEO
- Review software documentation and source code
- Integration experience - can install software into a networked computing environment and integrate software into a larger system that includes multiple software components from multiple companies.
- Can coordinate across multiple teams for developing a schedule, understanding dependencies, identifying risks, and understanding change propagation and requirements dependencies
- Test experience - can author test plans and procedures, perform integration and verification testing, can document and track deficiencies, and can generate test reports
- Knows requirements management in UML/SysML with some basic modeling tool experience
- Understanding of DO-178C preferred
- Experience with Agile methods preferred
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
- At least 3 years of work experience aerospace software integration required with at least 5 plus years work experience is a big plus.
