Are you a seasoned JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) professional looking for a critical, impactful role? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior JDE Analyst/Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be the central in-house JDE expert for our company, playing a vital role in our daily operations and a significant part in our upcoming JDE system upgrade. You will be instrumental in managing and overseeing our third-party support partners, ensuring seamless operations and effective collaboration.

You will work closely with our Sales & Distributions, finance and Warehouse Management business users, providing expert support and helping to shape the future of our JDE environment. We currently have third-party support, but this role is key to building our internal expertise and a successful transition to the latest JDE version.

As our in-house JDE expert, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • JDE Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for JDE user issues. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to POs, job errors, job scheduler issues, work center messages, and user access. You will work closely with EDI team to understand the new onboarding requirements and help build connections.
  • System Maintenance and Administration: Knowledgeable for routine system tasks such as monitoring JDE jobs on our IBM iSeries (AS400), CNC weekend maintenance, and server-side tasks like bouncing web servers, evaluating "Zombies," and managing load balancing. Also manage refreshing TEST and DEV environments and monitoring OMW and project promotions.
  • 3rd Party Management: Oversee and manage the work of third-party developers and support personnel for development & system maintenance and administration tasks including CNC maintenance, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and to our standards. You'll be the liaison between our internal teams and external partners.
  • Development and Reporting: Create custom reports for users, understand their needs, and provide solutions using tools like Business Objects and Qlikview. You'll also debug JDE programs and manage changes to job versions.
  • Security and Compliance: Manage JDE user roles and security, including Business Unit security. You'll respond to auditing requests and help users understand how to perform routine tasks within JDE, such as executing jobs.
  • Upgrade Planning and Execution: Play a crucial role in planning and implementing the upgrade of our JDE 8.12 environment to the latest version. Your in-depth knowledge will be essential in navigating this complex project.
