Job Summary:

A highly skilled AWS Cloud Developer / Solutions Architect is needed to support the design, development, and deployment of robust, cloud-based solutions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient applications using a wide range of AWS services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong development experience, DevOps capabilities, and a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and others.
• Develop scalable and efficient solutions using Node.js and/or Python in a serverless environment.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS DevOps tools: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodeArtifact.
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and CloudTrail.
• Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs using API Gateway, integrating with backend services.
• Manage and configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) for secure networking.
• Participate in designing and implementing AWS-based architectures in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Research and recommend emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
• Mentor teams and facilitate knowledge sharing across project phases.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure project execution follows defined guidelines, security protocols, and compliance controls.
• Develop and present proofs of concept (POCs) and proofs of technology (POTs) to validate new cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience with core AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Step Functions, SQS, SNS).
• Strong programming experience in Node.js and/or Python.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and processes, including CI/CD pipelines using AWS services.
• Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform for IaC implementation.
• Solid understanding of AWS monitoring and logging tools: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray.
• Proven ability in building secure, scalable APIs with API Gateway and Lambda integrations.
• Deep knowledge and experience with VPC configurations.
• Strong background in designing and implementing AWS-based solutions.
• Experience researching market trends, mentoring teams, and recommending cloud best practices.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills with the ability to facilitate cross-team discussions.
• Familiarity with defining cloud migration strategies based on existing on-prem environments.
• Experience overseeing build processes and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present POCs and POTs using AWS technologies.
