Job Details
Position: Oracle Xstore Consultant
Location: City of Industry, CA
Must Have Skills: Oracle DB, SQL, Core Java, Oracle Xstore Suite, XML
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understanding customer business use cases & perform functional & technical Requirements gathering of new features of Oracle Retail Xstore and XOffice application
- Produce and maintain Technical Process Flows, other, related design, and as-built documentation in support of the application architecture
- Understand the peak problems of business of Xstore operations and provide IT solutions to it
- Design, Develop, Unit Test, Delivery for Xstore and related applications.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Managers, Architects, and Other third Party Integrated Developers in recommending strategies and tactical implementations to solve data Integration problems.
- Meet weekly with stakeholders to understand their data needs

- Monitoring /ensuring apps availability, connectivity, data integrations and critical process completion.
- Monitor Deployment and report incidents for corrective changes (patches/upgrades) to production
- Collaborate with product vendors and 3rd party vendors for store application maintenance
- Proactive knowledge sharing with L1 help desk team providing a comprehensive knowledge repository on step-by-step incident resolution approach on a periodic basis enabling shift left
- Post Deployment validations
- Creating MNTs on a need basis
- Knowledge Management for future reference
- Reporting and Review meetings at agreed frequency
- Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams effectively and share periodic communication
- Cover support coverage over weekend and during P1 and P2 incidents
- Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholder teams during peak period along with Month End and Year End activities
- Raise and coordinate with Oracle on Service Requests if any
