Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Developing and implementing complex engineering plans, designs, and projects.
3. Conducting feasibility studies, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
4. Applying principles of hydrology and hydraulics to solve water-related issues.
5. Utilizing software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, WaterCAD, SSA, and HEC-RAS for designing and analyzing civil engineering projects.
6. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
7. Performing floodplain management tasks and taking appropriate measures to mitigate flood risks.
8. Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water resources.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4. Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, WaterCAD, SSA, and HEC-RAS.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
