Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Healthcare VDI Technical Expert to support one of our major healthcare customers. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions within clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and support VDI solutions in a healthcare environment.
Troubleshoot clinical VDI performance issues and user access workflows.
Work with hospital applications such as Epic / Cerner / Meditech / healthcare EHR systems within virtual environments.
Integrate and optimize VDI platforms with Single Sign-On tools (Imprivata preferred).
Collaborate with SHI and customer IT teams to deliver technical solutions and documentation.
Support Windows desktops, published applications, and zero/thin clients in clinical workflows.
Ensure security and compliance with healthcare standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience with VDI technologies in healthcare environments.
Hands-on experience with one or more platforms:

Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp
VMware Horizon
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Strong knowledge of:

Thin clients / zero clients in hospitals
Epic Hyperspace / Cerner access in VDI
Imprivata / authentication workflows
Profile management and app layering

Experience troubleshooting VDI performance and session issues.
