Senior Business Analyst or Principal Systems Analyst - ERP Production Execution

Description

As a Senior Business Analyst or Principal Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes with global SAP standard functions in combination with innovative solutions. You will act as a central function expert for Production Execution in the SAP environment, focusing on implementing the requirements of our America sites in the global ERP system. The position will be part of a global team, located at the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Site in St. Joseph, Missouri. In addition, you will work on intelligent solutions for process improvement in the production environment that can be used worldwide.

You will partner with the business client community to identify/analyze business needs and provide technology solutions and assist with their implementations. The incumbent will collaborate with IT, business clients, and/or solution providers to improve productivity and enhance processes in support of the client's business goals. Responsibilities for this role will be primarily system support, administrative and maintenance duties and to participate in projects/products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Consulting and Analysis:
  • Meets regularly with defined clients and stakeholders to understand and analyze their processes and needs.
  • Determines requirements to present possible solutions or improvements.
• Client Support:
  • Performs system support, administrative and maintenance duties for assigned systems.
  • Troubleshoots application and system problems and take corrective actions.
• Project/Product/Solution Activities:
  • Supports goals by participating on project teams.
  • Delivers on assigned tasks and action items.
• Technical Focus:
  • Utilizes knowledge of applications/systems and underlying architecture in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Develops and maintains awareness of IT process best practices, technology trends and emerging technologies.
• Documentation:
  • Produces documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements for Senior Business Analyst

• One-plus (1+) years of experience required with a Master's Degree or two-plus (2+) years of experience required with at least a Bachelor's Degree.

Requirements for Principal Systems Analyst

• Advanced level of IT process and technical understanding, and demonstrated knowledge for their area of responsibility.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with project management.
• Solid knowledge of and experience with life cycle methodology.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field with a minimum of 7 years experience; or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or MIS, with a minimum of 5 years of experience; or a Master degree in Computer Science, MIS, with a minimum 3 years of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of 7 years.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

Previous experience with SAP (S4 Hana ERP system) in a manufacturing environment with a focus on Production Execution (PE) module including components, modules and its core functionality.
