Position: Solutions Architect
Job Location: Los Altos, CA - Onsite

Job Description:
- Looking for a Tier 3 level engineer, almost at the level of a Solutions Architect as this person will be involved in guiding the team to make decisions/provide suggestions relating to storage/virtualization technology. VMware, Pure Storage and Rubrik will all be up for renewal in about 12 months so this person will be involved in the process of assessing new technology to potentially integrate/migrate to and will assist in that migration.
- Top priority will be storage and virtualization migration experience. Look at candidates strong in (Pure, NetApp, Nutanix, HPE, Cloudian, VMware) migration experience within these technologies will be huge. Someone who handles support requests for storage and virtualization as well VMware/Broadcom escalation support has been a problem for them.
- On the systems side (Windows/Mac/Linux) need to be able to help Tier 1 team from time to time.. but mostly will be involved in helping with higher level problem resolution. Active Directory.. Junior gave an example of setting up AD from scratch .
- For network.. that is lower on the priority list but still a need. Someone who has done Juniper switch upgrades would be ideal.
- Personality and work ethic is crucial here.. They need go-getter mentality. Someone who likes helping solve problems and help others as well. This person will be working alongside IT management, may be present and assist senior leadership and researchers. TRI is a complex environment. There is great opportunity for someone to learn here and get involved with a unique, dynamic organization.
