Job Desccription:
Core Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization:
- Perform and improve journal entry procedures (transactional, subscription, ancillary revenue)
- Support cash log, DBL (RCI points), and tax reporting processes
- Conduct reconciliations and error reporting
- Provide audit support (external, internal, statutory, tax)
- Collaborate on testing for new products/processes
- Data Management & Integration
- Collect and integrate data into Snowflake
- Maintain mapping tables in Snowflake
- Automate workflows using SQL
- Reporting & Visualization
- Develop and enhance PowerBI dashboards
- Advance Snowflake-to-PowerBI reporting capabilities
- Financial Modeling
- Use Advanced Excel for modeling and analysis
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between:
- Finance and IT
- Finance and Internal Audit, Tax, Revenue Management, Marketing
- North America Finance and regional Finance teams
- Change Management & Communication
- Drive digital transformation and reporting improvements
- Clearly explain complex processes to end users
Key Candidate Requirements
Experience & Background
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in:
- Data analytics (core requirement)
- Finance/accounting (preferred)
- Data science (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in:
- SQL (especially within Snowflake)
- PowerBI
- Advanced Excel
- Python
