Job Summary:

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will help develop and execute the organization's indirect sourcing and procurement strategy for Corporate Services (IT, Finance, Travel, Real Estate, & HR) to ensure it aligns with the overall indirect spend objectives, vision, and strategic plans of each Business area. This role is a hands-on position and will require identification and evaluation of sourcing opportunities in alignment with strategic, operating, and financial objectives. The Sourcing Manager will lead the negotiation and purchase of services with a focus on the technology category, specifically Microsoft.The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for analyzing spend data, collecting business requirements from internal stakeholders, executing sourcing events, and the administration of indirect spend related contracts.

The role requires strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and leadership. This roll will also have management responsibility and will be required to provide day-to-day supervision and coaching to Category Managers and Sourcing Specialists.

The successful candidate will possess a drive to achieve and deliver exceptional results. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross functional teams and the ability to negotiate, consult and advise stakeholders. 10+ years of progressive experience in Procurement or within a related position is required.


Essential Functions:

  • Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate needs of the Sourcing Team
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams; to negotiate with vendors and influence stakeholders
  • Influence strategic sourcing and purchasing decisions across the company
  • Technology procurement experience
  • Supplier management and asset management experience
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and strategic-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies through data analytics
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned
Supervisory or Management Responsibility:
  • Responsible for the supervision, training and development of Category Managers and Sourcing Specialists.
  • Conduct regular 1:1's
  • Conduct career pathing and quarterly coaching sessions

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related area
  • Familiarity with Ariba or similar ERP software
