Hybrid Senior Front End Web Developer

• This is a hybrid job. You must be able to come into the San Jose, California office at discretion of the Manager
• The initial screening will be by a 15 minute video conference: All cameras must be turned on
• All interviews will be by video with manager and hiring team: All cameras must be turned on
• Hybrid Front End Developer must live in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States
• This is a full-time job as a FriendFinder Networks employee. This is not a C2C, 1099, or Contract to Hire.

FriendFinder Networks is looking for a talented Hybrid Senior Front End Web Developer who will become a key member of an agile team to design, implement, and test highly scalable and reliable web sites that are seen and used by millions of people every day all over the world. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deliver highly interactive and visually engaging front end code using React, Angular and vanilla JS / jQuery
• Implement standards-compliant front end code in HTML/CSS and JavaScript as well as using modern frameworks such as React, Angular
• Work with agile cross-functional teams providing guidance on user interface design and implementation
• Test code across platforms and browsers
• Document all your work and communicate issues when they arise
• Assist troubleshooting production issues

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience developing social networking sites
• 5 years of front-end development experience
• 3 years minimum experience with React or Angular
• You must be able to work 10:00AM to 6:PM Pacific Standard Time and come into FriendFinder Networks' office two times a week in San Jose, California
• You must be comfortable with adult content
• You must be at least 21 years old

WHAT IS PREFERABLE TO HAVE

• Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, XSLT/XML, jQuery
• Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, secure web standards and best practices
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and emerging web technologies
• Ability to code with any or all of the following: Perl, PHP, MySQL, SEO, graphic design/UI. PHP is a big plus

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE

• Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
• Team-player, positive attitude, and flexible
