Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Systems Engineering Intern within the C-130J Training organization. In this role, you will perform the following in support of training devices:
- Work with system/subsystem requirements
- Perform a variety of engineering support responsibilities including contract documentation work, proposal support, problem tracking/resolution, subcontractor interaction, and more.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering "V" phases and understanding of each phase, technical documentation experience, process definition/improvement, and understanding of production standards.
Basic Qualifications
* Pursuing a technical degree in Systems, Computer, or Electrical Engineering
* Familiar with Problem Resolution techniques
* Familiar with processes: definition and/or improvement
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Desired skills
* Experience working in a team-oriented environment
* Capable of multi-tasking (multiple tasks simultaneously)
* Efficient Time management & prioritization
* Organized and proactive

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $20,904 - $61,672. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
