Roles & Responsibilities
Functional Expertise
· Analyze business requirements related to the OTC cycle and translate them into functional specifications.
· Configure SAP OTC components such as:
o Sales Orders
o Pricing & Conditions
o Delivery & Shipping
o Billing & Invoicing
o Credit Management
o Customer Master Data
o ATP (Available-to-Promise)
· Support integrations with SD–FI, SD–MM, SD–WM/EWM, and external systems (CRM, 3PL, EDI, etc.).
Testing Responsibilities
· Create test plans, test scripts, scenarios, and use cases for functional and end-to-end testing.
· Perform:
o Unit Testing
o Integration Testing (SIT)
o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
o Regression Testing
· Log, track, and resolve defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
· Validate interfaces, reports, and data flows across modules.
Project Delivery
· Participate in workshops, blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
· Prepare functional documents: FS, BRD, test cases, training documents, configuration documents.
· Support cutover readiness, master data validation, and go-live activities.
· Provide hypercare and post-go-live production support.
Collaboration
· Work closely with developers for WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, PP, EWM).
· Conduct training sessions for business users.
Required Skills
· 4–10 years experience in SAP SD/OTC implementation or support.
· Strong understanding of complete OTC lifecycle.
· Hands-on configuration skills in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
· Expertise in testing tools and structured test methodologies.
· Experience with IDoc/EDI, pricing procedures, output determination.
· Knowledge of integration with logistics and finance modules.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in S/4HANA Migration (Brownfield/Greenfield).
· Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for OTC.
· Basic debugging skills (ABAP basics).
· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
· SAP certification in SD/OTC is an advantage.
