- Proficient understanding of Underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions (Clustered/Distributed Computing, Storage, Data Center Networking)
- Experience in deployment of a large distributed Big Data Application
- Track record of thought leadership and innovation around Big Data. Solid understanding of Cloud Computing Technologies and related emerging technologies
- Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.
- Experience designing, building and operating cloud services in IT, Systems Integrator or Service Provider.
- Proficiency with Hadoop, MapReduce using Python, HDFS
- Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
- Knowledge of further Cloud technologies (Redshift, S3, EC2, EMR, Talend/Pentaho/Snowflake)
- Deep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development.
- Experience with tools such as Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr,.
- Architect and Design of client's Cloud environments and demonstrate Technical Cloud Architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of Production, Staging, QA/Test and Development Cloud Infrastructures
- Delivery of customer Cloud Strategies, aligned with customer's business objectives and with a focus on Cloud Migrations
- Provide leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques including mass application movements into the cloud including implementation of Cloud strategy within in large regulated enterprise environments
- Solution Design experience on Data Warehouse, BI, Data Mart and Analytics systems
- Architects platforms which are highly scalable, responsive and serve as a foundation for building key enterprise components.
