Job Description:
- Lead Oracle HCM ETL Developer
- The candidate should have experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules (i.e., Core HR, Workforce Compensation, Performance Management, Goal Setting, Career Development, Recruiting Cloud and Learning Cloud) and hands-on experience with the underlying HCM schema.
- They should be able to architect, build, and maintain robust data integration solutions for the Oracle HCM Cloud platform.
- This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep technical expertise in ETL frameworks, Oracle HCM data structures, and cloud-based integration tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to support seamless data flow between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal/external systems.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Develop and deploy HCM Extracts, HDL (HCM Data Loader) scripts, and BIP reports to support HR data operations.
- Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning strategies.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all HCM integrations.
- Participate in system upgrades, patch testing, and regression validation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in ETL development, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, and BIP.
- Familiarity with cloud integration platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of HR data models and business processes.
- Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to other HCM platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
