    Job Description:

    • Developing electrical devices and testing them for safety and efficiency
    • Managing the manufacturing process for new electrical equipment, using design software to produce schematics and overseeing the installation process of their designs
    • Design, develop and maintain electrical systems and parts for consumer and business electronics
    • Provide support for electrical work in the manufacturing, transport and construction industries
    • Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
    • Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication
    • Making presentations to clients and coworkers
    • Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation
    • Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions
    • Plans mechanical drawings by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specifications, and supporting documents; conferring with engineers and product designers

    Prepares mechanical detail drawings by developing applications and calculations of castings, forgings, stampings, machined components, gears, cams, bearings, belt and drive chains, splines, linkages, dies, jogs, hydraulics, and pneumatics; producing fit specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T); analyzing force systems in equilibrium, involving loaded beams, columns, trusses, and riveted and welded joints, and internal stresses of loaded members; resolving conflicts between options
