Job Details



Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer (Subject-Matter Expert)
Location: Remote (Tri-State Area preferred)
Client Industry: Financial Services
Compensation: $70 - $90/hr. (6+ month contract)

We have partnered with our client in their search for an Expert-Level Salesforce Developer
to design, implement, and enhance Salesforce solutions that align with organizational goals. This individual will play a key role in integrating Salesforce platforms with external systems, optimizing database schemas for scalability, and developing reusable components to streamline deployment and reduce time to market. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and automation while adhering to best practices and governance.

Responsibilities




  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization:



  • Configure Custom Objects & Fields, Validation Rules, Flows, Approval Processes, Reports, and Dashboards.

  • Design and create packages for multi-org deployment with a focus on reusable components.

  • Promote no-code/low-code solutions for simple to moderate business challenges.




  • Development and Integration:



  • Develop custom solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Migrate large datasets to Salesforce using Data Loader and other tools.


  • Automation and Process Optimization:



  • Build and manage Flows, Process Builder, and approval processes to optimize workflows.

  • Ensure clean, readable, and maintainable code through best practices like bulkification and metadata usage.


  • Governance and Best Practices:



  • Adhere to Salesforce's governor limits and optimize code for performance.

  • Leverage Salesforce governance/admin tools like Security Center.

  • Utilize version control, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices for smooth deployments.


  • Analytics and Reporting:



  • Build reports, dashboards, and analytical views that align with business needs.

  • Work with reporting tools like Tableau, CRMA, and Power BI.


  • Team Collaboration:



  • Work in agile project delivery environments with competing priorities.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team collaboration. Skills Required


    • Salesforce Expertise:



    • 7+ years of Salesforce technical implementation experience across Service, Experience, Marketing, and Sales Clouds.

    • Strong understanding of CRM modules (Contacts/Accounts, Case Management).




  • Development and Automation:



  • 4+ years of Apex development experience.

  • 3+ years of Lightning Web Components (LWC) experience.

  • 5+ years in Salesforce Flows and Process Automation.


  • Integration and Data Management:



  • 4+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.

  • Proficiency in SOQL and data migration using tools like Data Loader.


  • Technical Tools and Platforms:



  • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Power BI, Tableau, and other integration/reporting platforms.

  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools.


  • Certifications:



  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) is mandatory.


  • Preferred Experience:



  • Multi-org environment experience.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and advanced analytics. Education & Work Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Demonstrated success in managing Salesforce development in agile environments.

    • Strong understanding of security, governance, and Salesforce's best practices.

    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) is mandatory.
