About the Role We are seeking a Product Manager to take charge of building and enhancing the operational tooling and external-facing member portal for IEX's options exchange. This role focuses on translating complex options market workflows into intuitive, reliable products for internal teams and external members. Over time, the scope may expand to support broader initiatives across IEX's options and equities exchanges.
The role works closely with market operations, engineering, and customers. It is well-suited for someone with deep options market knowledge-either from prior product experience or from working in a trading operations capacity and is excited to deliver high-impact, customer-facing products.
What You'll Do - Own and drive product initiatives related to the operational toolset and external member portal for the IEX options exchange
- Partner closely with market operations to understand workflows, operational needs, and customer interactions
- Translate business and operational needs into clear, high-fidelity business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work with engineering to manage the full development lifecycle from discovery through delivery
- Maintain and prioritize the product enhancement backlog, including writing and managing Jira stories and tickets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with market operations, engineering, and other stakeholders to scope and deliver features
- Support testing and validation efforts by reviewing test cases and participating in UAT
- Serve as a primary point of communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
What We're Looking For - 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or working in a trading operations role and working closely with technology teams
- Strong options market experience is required, with a solid understanding of options trading and market structure, including operational workflows and infrastructure
- Experience with equities markets is a nice to have
- Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and test cases, and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with Jira and managing work through an agile or iterative development lifecycle
- Technical fluency with data querying and analysis tools (SQL, KDB), along with comfort using command-line tools and generative AI
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across technical and non-technical teams

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $150,000 and $175,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
