Description

SAIC is looking for an exceptional IT professional to join our Civilian Sector as a ServiceNow Software Developer in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.

As a ServiceNow Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and integrating platform capabilities and module functionalities within the FAA ServiceNow environment. You will be instrumental in supporting the FAA through agile development practices, driving seamless integration of various systems and tools to optimize service delivery.

This position can be worked 100 % remote WITHIN the US

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow applications using ITOM and ITAM modules, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic goals and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and project managers, to gather and define system requirements and design solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, integration, and migration activities to ensure accurate and seamless data flow within ServiceNow.
  • Customize and enhance ServiceNow's ITOM and ITAM features, workflows, and functionalities to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the highest level of quality and performance.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for ServiceNow implementations, ensuring system stability and uptime.
  • Continuously stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7-9 years of experience with ServiceNow development and configuration, with a strong focus on ITOM and ITAM modules. Additional years can be used in Liu of a degree.
  • Experience leading complex Integration projects utilizing the PMI framework.
  • Experience with technical leadership, client engagement, and presenting to large audiences.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM best practices and frameworks.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust, Citizenship Required.
  • PREFERRED: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or similar certifications

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
