Job Description
Role: BI/Data Engineer
Location: Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH(Hybrid, 3 days onsite per month)
Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)
Pay rate starts from: $65/hr
Only W2 Must Haves:-
- Oracle Business Intelligence analysis or development
- PL/SQL
- One of the three BI Tool exposure (Tableau, OBIEE, Power BI, Business Objects (Team is currently using OBIEE heavily)- Will need to develop dashboards, reports, tables, graphs, etc.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ years experience in IT as a Business Intelligence analyst or developer
- 2+ years proficiency and hands-on experience in platforms like Tableau, OBIEE, Power BI
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Financial Services experience preferred
- Demonstrable experience with report development, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role
- Development and delivery of high quality, timely, and maintainable reporting capability in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, tables, graphs and charts with OBIEE and BI Publisher.
- Experience in database analysis using SQL and procedural logic (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
- Understanding of Data Warehouse and Dimensional Modeling (star-schema)
- Participate in the definition of the BI delivery strategy, standards and support tools
- Experience with statistical analysis using R or Python scripting is a plus
