We are looking for a Junior UX Researcher for our client in Atlanta, GA
Job Title: Junior UX Researcher
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Requirement/Must Have:
- UX Research experience (1 3 years).
- UX design knowledge.
- AngularJS.
- HTML.
- Experience in healthcare domain (preferred).
- 1 3 years of qualitative design research experience in a non-academic setting.
Experience using a range of UX research methodologies, including:
Usability testing (remote and in-person).- Heuristic evaluation.
- Task analysis.
- Survey design.
- Persona creation.
- Journey mapping.
- Co-creation workshops.
- Experience with UX research tools such as UserZoom/UserTesting, Contentsquare, Medallia, or Pendo.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, coding-based prototyping platforms).
- Understand project needs in early or ambiguous phases to define research goals.
- Select appropriate research methodologies and recruit target users.
- Plan and conduct iterative usability testing to validate design concepts.
- Conduct moderated and unmoderated studies, including test protocol creation and analysis.
- Analyze research findings and convert them into clear insights connected to user and business goals.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate research insights into the product lifecycle.
- Advocate for the user and ensure research informs design and development decisions.
- Communicate research strategies, methodologies, and insights to project teams.
- Apply user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
- Continuously improve research processes by staying updated on best. practices and tools
- Understanding of human-centered design principles.
- Awareness of accessibility standards.
- Experience with assistive technology (a plus).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- User research methods and tools.
- UX design and usability testing.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in psychology, behavioral science, anthropology, human-computer interaction, or related field.
