Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer

The MDM Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, configuration, and support of enterprise mobile devices using VMware Workspace ONE, AirWatch, Microsoft Intune, and Apple DEP. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience managing large-scale mobility environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage mobile devices and applications using VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE/Intune/Apple DEP.
• Perform platform administration, including policy updates, compliance setup, user and device management.
• Troubleshoot issues related to device enrollment, email configuration, app provisioning, VPN, Wi-Fi, OS updates, remote wipe, and other mobility functions.
• Manage local mobile device inventory, resupply, procurement, and activation.
• Handle mobility policy/process queries and ensure compliance with enterprise mobility standards.
• Perform employee and contractor offboarding, and monthly mobility audits as per termination process.
• Resolve mobile device account lockouts, password resets, and connectivity issues.
• Provide dedicated mobility support for field sales teams.
• Coordinate with business application owners for application-specific support needs.
• Support application deployment and maintenance for enterprise mobile app stores.
• Work with onsite teams for new mobility services rollout and system enhancements.
• Manage and support 4G card lifecycle and asset tracking.
• Contribute proactively to new initiatives such as BYOD, security improvements, and mobility modernization.
• Assist with Workspace ONE to Intune migration/integration planning and execution.
• Maintain strong communication with cross-functional and global mobility teams.

Candidate Requirements

• 8 10+ years of experience in MDM / Mobility Engineering.
• Strong expertise with VMware AirWatch & Workspace ONE administration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, O365, and mobile email platforms.
• Hands-on experience managing iOS, Android, and Windows mobile/tablet devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity, provisioning, sync, VPN, and coverage issues.
• Excellent communication and customer-support skills.
