Job Title: MES Consultant / Development Lead Semiconductor Domain Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite / Hybrid)
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced MES Consultant / Development Lead to join a leading semiconductor client in Santa Clara.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within the semiconductor manufacturing or electronics domain, leading design, integration, and implementation efforts across the production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead MES architecture, design, and development in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Collaborate with business and production teams to translate manufacturing processes into MES workflows.

  • Customize and integrate MES platforms (e.g., Camstar, Opcenter, Apriso, FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, or Critical Manufacturing).

  • Develop and deploy interfaces between MES and ERP, PLM, and equipment systems.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to MES best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 15 years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years in MES development or consulting.

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, automation, and fab workflows.

  • Experience with Camstar MES or similar platforms (Opcenter, Apriso, FactoryTalk, etc.).

  • Strong programming knowledge in C#, Java, or SQL, with experience integrating MES with other enterprise systems.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Web Services, and database design.

  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Critical Manufacturing MES or GE Proficy.

  • Background in industrial automation or semiconductor fabs.

  • Prior leadership experience in managing MES implementation teams.
