Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Senior Engagement & Operations Manager to join our dynamic design organization. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator with a passion for driving design excellence through streamlined operations, process optimization, and cross-functional alignment.

You will partner with UX leaders, product teams, and stakeholders to facilitate the creation of complex design solutions, manage resource allocation, and ensure operational efficiency across multidisciplinary design initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the creation of complex design solutions by helping define business and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with design, research, and strategy teams to deliver impactful digital experiences.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and governance to ensure timely and high-quality design delivery.
  • Drive improvements in design processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Shape, implement, and document scalable operational processes to streamline workflows.
  • Partner with design leadership on staffing, prioritization, and presentation of design work.
  • Manage project intake, triage, and allocation to maintain team momentum.
  • Act as a liaison between design, product, and business units to ensure alignment and visibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics and resource utilization to optimize design operations.
  • Provide regular communication updates, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Operations Manager within a design consultancy or in-house UX organization.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end UX/design projects in a large corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Deep understanding of UX design principles and creative processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Experience with resource management, planning tools, and design systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive mindset.
Preferred Tools & Platforms:
  • Figma, Miro, Jira, Asana, Airtable, Confluence, Trello
  • Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  • DesignOps or UX Operations frameworks
