Overview
We have partnered with our client in their search for a highly skilled Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice capabilities, AudioCodes Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and NICE Contact Center CXone solutions. Experience with Cloud9 digital voice trading platform is a strong plus. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work across multiple technologies to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality voice services, while providing exceptional "white glove" user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Teams Voice infrastructure, including Direct Routing and integration with SBCs.


• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot AudioCodes SBCs for enterprise voice connectivity.


• Integrate and support NICE CXone Contact Center and ASC Call Recording solutions, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.


• Leverage PowerShell or similar scripting tools to automate provisioning, monitoring, and management tasks.


• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless voice service delivery.


• Monitor and optimize voice systems for quality, reliability, and scalability.


• Provide Tier 3 support for complex voice-related incident, service requests, and proactively identify opportunities for performance optimization.


• Maintain documentation for voice architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.


• (Preferred) Support and maintain Cloud9 voice digital trading systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Voice Engineer or similar role in enterprise environments.


• Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice features, including Direct Routing and PSTN integration.


• Advanced knowledge of AudioCodes SBCs (configuration, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades).


• Experience with NICE Contact Center CXone solution (deployment, administration, integration).


• Familiarity with Cloud9 voice trading platforms is highly desirable.


• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting or similar automation tools.


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and ecosystem integration.


• Solid understanding of networking protocols and routing technologies (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRF, multicast, QoS).


• Familiarity with LAN/WAN design, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and IP voice systems.


• Experience working in financial services or other regulated enterprise environments is highly preferred.


• Excellent communication and documentation skills.


• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer Expert, AudioCodes Certified Professional, NICE CXone certifications) are a plus.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• AudioCodes Certified Professional (ACP)


• NICE CXone Certified Professional


• CCaaS / UCaaS platform certifications


• Networking or voice-related certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, CompTIA Network+)
