Job Description:
Seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect with strong consulting skills to lead a solo engagement consulting with a client. The architect will provide strategic direction and roadmap guidance to the client s team, acting as the trusted advisor and embedded resource driving architectural decisions and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and define the Salesforce architectural vision aligned with the client s business strategy and technology roadmap, focusing on Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Consult directly with client stakeholders to assess current state, identify gaps, and design scalable, sustainable Salesforce solutions.
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the client s internal teams on Salesforce best practices, governance, and platform capabilities.
- Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate Salesforce clouds and potentially with other enterprise systems to support business growth and transformation.
- Drive solution frameworks, oversee technical proof-of-concepts, and ensure designs consider scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Act as the single point of architectural contact, orchestrating implementation efforts and resolving technical challenges.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into Salesforce capabilities and roadmaps.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new products, and roadmap to advise clients on innovation and platform evolution.
- Lead workshops, presentations, and strategy sessions to align client teams behind architecture decisions and future vision.
- Deliver documentation and architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Salesforce architecture experience, preferably with hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Strong consulting skills with proven experience in client-facing roles, roadmap development, and technical advisory.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, data model, security, integration options (APIs, middleware), and extensibility (Apex, LWC, Flows).
- Experience in designing multi-cloud solutions that unify customer engagement, revenue management, and digital experiences.
- Proven ability to work independently in a client environment and lead cross-functional teams towards successful delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and ability to align architectural work with iterative development cycles.
- Salesforce certifications in relevant domains (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Consultant certifications) preferred.
