Pay is based on a number of factors including the successful candidate's job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, and prior experience. The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support project demands is expected.

Remote - Incumbent should be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven 4+ years of experience as an IBM i System Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of the IBM i operating system and its architecture.
  • Experience with IBM i related hardware, including Power Systems servers and Hardware Management Console.
  • IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM I - desired

SUMMARY: A developing technology professional applying expertise in one or more disciplines that support the organization's technology infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Produces, maintains and updates existing documentation and standard operating procedures.
  2. Administers installed technologies following approved processes and procedures.
  3. Participates in the implementation of technologies, coordinating with appropriate operational groups and under guidance from senior staff.
  4. Implements changes and installations to one or more components of the infrastructure as directed, executing tests and reporting on performance.
  5. Collects and analyzes data on the performance of installed technologies (e.g. response time, availability, health checks of equipment), proactively recommending required maintenance and upgrades as appropriate.
  6. Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed technical solutions.
  7. Participates in incident management.
  8. Continuously updates knowledge databases.
  9. May provide guidance to more junior staff.
  10. May participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  11. May be required to perform work after hours.
  12. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience required.
