Job Details

HYBRID MODEL 3 days onsite 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects.
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, etc.)
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
  • Collaborate with application team to design and implement database schemas and structures.
  • Ensure data integrity and security through proper design and implementation of database constraints and permissions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.
  • Required to come into our NYC office 3 days a week

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience as an SQL Developer and Business Analysis.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, SSRS, Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial data analysis.
  • Experience in Infor / Lawson financials is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and multi-focus skills.
