The ideal candidate is a skilled IT Systems Engineer with expertise in system security, cloud administration, and networking. This role is vital to enhancing our vulnerability management efforts while supporting Office 365 administration, network and email migrations, scripting, and Tier 3 escalations. Your structured problem-solving approach will help secure and strengthen our diverse IT infrastructure.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office located in Dallas. It is a contract-to-hire position (3-6 months) with a competitive pay rate of $40-$45/hour and the potential to transition into a full-time role. - Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration or system engineering.
- Expertise in vulnerability management, patch management, and addressing security risks.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (including Exchange and SharePoint) and network/email migrations.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, T-SQL).
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts (IPv4, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Hybrid Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science preferred.
- Certifications in Office 365, Azure, AWS, Cisco, and/or CompTIA Security+.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki equipment and network infrastructure.
- Experience maintaining IT compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA) and supporting audits.
