About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to design and develop complex, high-speed 100G, 400G, 800G Network Systems that are scalable and flexible. You will lead the design of advanced packet processors and switches, providing hands-on technical support throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing projects. Responsibilities include designing architecture, creating block diagrams, capturing schematics, and managing board bring-ups.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing projects. Responsibilities include designing architecture, creating block diagrams, capturing schematics, and managing board bring-ups.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital circuits, firmware, microprocessor-based boards, PCB layouts, real-time multiprocessor systems, and high-speed networking solutions
- Lead the design of high-speed (25G/40G/100G/400G) network switch solutions from concept to production
- Collaborate with vendors to source and evaluate chips, components, and boards to ensure compatibility and performance
- Create and review schematics and block diagrams, ensuring alignment with product requirements and industry standards
- Manage PCB layout and guide engineers to meet design specifications and project requirements
- Perform board bring-up and design verification, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware issues to ensure functionality and performance
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate hardware and software, optimize system performance, and debug product issues
- Conduct technical reviews of product requirements, providing feedback, and ensuring design feasibility
Qualifications and Requirements
- 8+ years' hardware development experience in a communications-related product design
- Experience in Ethernet, switches, and networking
- Experience using schematic/ layout tools (Cadence, OrCAD)
- Knowledge of PCB technology, stack-up development, and high-speed layout considerations

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay flexible in a fast-paced environment, and maintain strong attention to detail

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering is required
