Role: Technical Writer
Location:100% Remote
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce high-quality documentation that blends instructional and technical writing, meets applicable standards, and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to obtain an in-depth understanding of client processes and technology, and the documentation requirements.
- Help create and maintain a library of documentation.
- Effectively communicate ideas and concepts to other team members, cross-functional team members, and deliver projects on time.
- Collaborate well with cross-functional team members to perform necessary writing, copyediting, and/or proofreading needs.
- Balance multiple projects with differing and aggressive timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
- Audits and evaluates existing content and recommends changes/rewrites to meet brand guidelines and content standards.
- System documentation, User Guides, FAQs, Integration, and API Developer Guides
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 5 years of relevant experience with high-tech learning, such as SaaS, software, or hardware.
- experience with AI documentation.
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Must be able to organize ideas and be able to translate technical terms into text appropriate for a global audience.
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
- Ability to adapt well to change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative; finding creative solutions to challenges and excited about learning as well as applying critical thinking.
