FS (C# .NET)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS (C# .NET) in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:
* Develop distributed, event-driven trading systems optimized for low latency and high throughput
* Develop and implement asynchronous processing frameworks and resilient messaging services
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver robust, end-to-end trading workflows
* Work on performance tuning and optimization efforts across the platform
* Adhere to engineering standard methodologies
* Support production and non-production environments, including participation in a weekly on-call rotation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
* 5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience in Full Stack Developer capacity
* You are a strong C#/.NET developer and experience working with client-server desktop and web applications
* Experienced in WinForms, WPF and WCF
* Experienced in using third party components like ComponentOne and DevExpress
* Experienced in Java technologies is a plus
* Experience with Capital Markets or Brokerage systems, especially order management
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy
* Hands-on experience deploying applications to AWS or other cloud platforms
* Knowledge of or experience in KDB+ or other time-series databases
* Advanced knowledge of low latency design patterns and performance optimization techniques
* Solid understanding of the FIX protocol and FIX engines
* Familiarity with AI developer assist tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
* Familiar with Linux environments and Unix shell scripting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
