Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for SAFE-T System s 24/7 operations, ensuring compliance with university IT/IS and HIPAA policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT failures, ensuring timely resolutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Consult with internal and external teams on telehealth technology needs and implement solutions to improve system performance.
- Support the research, planning, and implementation of repairs and feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate technical projects, ensuring they align with SAFE-T goals and deadlines.
- Develop and deliver specialized training for healthcare professionals on telehealth technologies and security protocols.
- Lead discussions with health system partners and external vendors regarding data security and telehealth technology solutions.
- Ensure the SAFE-T System s compliance with HIPAA and other federal data security regulations.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor s degree plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred familiarity with ITIL/IT service management best practices, Penn State IT organizational units, and IT security policies.
- Experience with Systems Management (SysMan) is preferred.
