Job Details
Job Title: ADP Consultant
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential to convert to full-time)
Location: Remote – Must work in Pacific Time (PST) hours
Job Description – Responsibilities:Design and manage accrual configurations for various leave types in compliance with state, federal, and company policies Act as the SME for timekeeping and accrual systems, supporting HR, Payroll, and Finance teams Conduct data audits for time and accruals to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with GL reporting Collaborate with Payroll and Finance to ensure correct mapping of time data for payroll and financial accruals Create and maintain documentation of logic, configurations, and workflows Support UAT and regression testing for enhancements and patches to the timekeeping system Develop and automate reports and dashboards to monitor leave balances, accrual liabilities, and labor trends Stay informed on legislative and policy changes impacting timekeeping and implement necessary adjustments Partner with IT and third-party vendors to enhance system interfaces and integrations Track deliverables, flag risks, and ensure timely completion of tasks and project milestones Maintain detailed technical documentation including data requirements, workflows, test plans, and outcomes
Must-Have Qualifications:
Technical Skills & Experience Required: Familiarity with Kronos/eTime is acceptable if highly transferable Deep understanding of state-specific labor laws (sick leave, vacation, PTO, etc.) Hands-on experience configuring and managing accrual policies and exception rules Comfortable working with very large datasets (e.g., 160,000+ daily punches) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas; macros preferred) Experience interacting with ADP APIs and managing data interfaces (no direct API config required) Alteryx for data blending; certification is a strong plus

- Includes schedules, time codes, accruals, holidays, and exception policies
- Experience supporting 10,000+ U.S.-based employees
- Handling timekeeping systems with ~40,000 users generating 160,000+ punches/day
- Prior experience in teams managing high-volume time & attendance operations
- Strong expertise in ADP Time (especially Timekeeping module)
- Note: Candidates with only ADP Benefits experience *will not be a fit
