Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will be a member of a team managing all technology aspects of a merger, acquisition, or divestiture project. The successful candidate will lead large technology separation or integration efforts, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of the project life-cycle from initiation to closing.
Responsibilities: - Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life-cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing
- Act as a key participant in project plans and budgets for change management
- Develop and implement program and project level processes, procedures, and performance metrics
- Demonstrate ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
- Collaborate and consult with executive leadership, stakeholders, and business partners to clarify and define project requirements
- Manage a team and ensure a full understanding of project impacts that translate into comprehensive engagement strategies
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Methodologies, and Strategic Planning
- Proven experience managing mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
- Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of technology workstreams for M&A initiatives
- 7+ years leading large infrastructure or application development efforts across technology, business, and enterprise partners
- 6+ years leading large application development efforts
- 6+ years leading large enterprise infrastructure efforts
- 3+ years of proven success managing projects in an Agile environment
- Experience in highly regulated environments, such as banking or at a large financial institution
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear leadership-ready reports and communications
- Ability to translate diligence findings into integration plans, risk mitigation strategies, and cost/timeline impacts
- Proficient with Risk and Issue Identification and Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, M365, SharePoint, and JIRA
Pay range: $51.09 - $59.09 per hour
