Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist AI/ML
Location: on-site (DC Metro area) with occasional Remote
Clearance: Public Trust eligibility,
Overview:
Supports AI/ML capabilities for enterprise analytics focusing on predictive modeling, automated pipelines, and ML integration with a large-scale data lake.
Responsibilities:
- Build ML models using Databricks MLflow, SAS Viya, Python, Scala
- Implement predictive modeling, deep learning, and statistical analysis
- Automate training, validation, and deployment pipelines
- Enable self-service analytics and automated insights
- Integrate models into enterprise tools (Tableau, SMART, SAS)
- Work with complex, large-scale datasets
- Conduct research, prototyping, and production deployment
- Use Graph Data Services to build knowledge graph features
Required Skills:
- Python, PySpark, Databricks MLflow
- SAS PME/Viya preferred
- Scalable ML model development in cloud environments
- Data lake & big data experience
- Strong statistical modeling background
Preferred:
- Deep learning
- NLP & social media analytics (Sprinklr)
- AWS AI/ML stack (SageMaker optional)
