Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in Bronx, New York. This is a contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth, with a potential transition to a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring seamless operations in a Microsoft and Office 365 environment.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
Conduct break-fix repairs and troubleshoot workstation problems in a timely manner.
Provide support for Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Active Directory.
Assist users with Mac systems and proprietary technologies as needed.
Perform imaging and configuration of desktop workstations to meet organizational standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing technical concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and user experience.
Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols.
Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems.
Experience with desktop imaging and workstation setup.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Mac systems and proprietary technologies is a plus.
Relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
