Description: Our client is currently seeking a QA ANALYST
Hybrid, Onsite (Day 1) Chicago, IL
I. WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
•Validate ETL processes sourcing data from data sources including IBM DB2, Amazon S3, transform as per provided business rules or data mappings, and loading into target databases/services including EDB, Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS.
•Create automated scripts to validate data copies from source to target.
•Monitor development and production ETL processes and report any issues that may occur, and work with the ETL developers to resolve the issues.
•Participate in daily Scrum standups. Update task status in Jira.
II. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•1 year experience with scripting using Shell scripting
•1-3 years' experience and ability to write and understand complex queries with SQL
•1-3 years' experience with writing automation code using Python •1 year experience with DevOps process (exposure to GitHub, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools) and knowledge and experience with Terraform and Ansible
1-3 years experience with Selenium/Cucumber
•Exposure to AWS cloud-based services is a strong plus.
