Role Overview

is seeking a highly skilled Workday Finance Configuration Consultant to join its HRIS/Finance Systems team. This role will focus on delivering technical configuration expertise in Workday Finance modules, ensuring alignment with Amazon s global finance operations and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong Workday Finance configuration experience, proven Workday Pro certifications, and the ability to drive both implementation and optimization initiatives in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Finance modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Banking & Settlement, Business Assets).

Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.

Troubleshoot, test, and validate configuration changes and integrations.

Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and system enhancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Payroll, HR, IT, Finance) to ensure seamless integrations and data flow.

Provide end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer for Finance systems.

Participate in system release testing, regression testing, and deployment activities.

Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, identifying opportunities to adopt new functionality.

Required Qualifications

Strong Workday Finance configuration experience (minimum 4+ years).

Workday Pro certifications in one or more Finance modules (required).

Experience implementing and supporting large-scale Workday Finance solutions in complex organizations.

Hands-on experience with Workday Reporting, EIBs, and business process configuration.

Solid understanding of finance operations, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a global enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior consulting experience with enterprise clients.

Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Previous experience in high-volume, fast-paced industries (retail, e-commerce, or technology preferred).
