SQL Database Developer

Requisition Title: SQL Database Developer
Location: Seattle, WA / Austin, TX (Onsite/ Hybrid)
Pay Rate $75-80/hr W2 absolute max.

• Are you passionate about working with data/database technologies and have a consistent track record of delivering high quality BigData solutions. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the delivery of solutions on top of the MPP databases/Hadoop platform implementation and will be playing a key role in this huge technology pivot. You will not only help train our existing staff making the leap over to our new technologies, but you will also empower the team to approach problems differently.

What technical skills will successful candidates possess?             

• Developer requirements and qualifications
• Candidate must have 8-10 years demonstrable programming experience in SQL development
• A minimum of 6-year experience in MS SQL SERVER including proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server , Teradata and Oracle
• Develop, implement, and optimize queries, procedures and functions using T-SQL (DQL, DML, DDL, DCL and TCL).
• Excellent knowledge in creating objects like Indexed Views, complex Stored Procedures, effective functions, and appropriate Triggers to facilitate efficient data manipulation and data consistency.
• Hands on experience with performance tools like SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
• Experience with ETL technologies, hands on experience with developing, deploying, and monitoring packages for ETL tasks using Informatica/ SSIS DTS Import/Export Utility, BCP and DTS packages.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Teradata SQL
