Position: Product Owner

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 Months contract position

We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the design and delivery of integrations between the enterprise systems such as CRM, KYC and Onboarding, Core Banking, Payments, AML, Fraud, Data Warehouse, etc. platforms with new Operational Data Store (ODS) platform getting build.


The role will define the data flow strategy, manage the product backlog for integration components, and ensure that ODS becomes a single source of trusted, timely, and consumable data across the bank s ecosystem.

Description:

  • Lead the end-to-end integration roadmap for the ODS, enabling connectivity with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Work with business, data, and technology stakeholders to define data requirements, ownership, and consumption models.
  • Partner with system owners (e.g., KYC and Onboarding, CRM, Core Banking, Payments, Treasury, Risk) to establish API contracts, data mappings, and synchronization rules.
  • Define and prioritize user stories and technical enablers for ODS ingestion, transformation, and publishing layers.
  • Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to align integrations with enterprise data models and standards.
  • Ensure ODS integrations meet SLAs for data freshness, quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Support UAT, defect triage, and production readiness for each integration release.
  • Champion Agile and data-driven delivery practices, fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  • Enable future scalability, ensuring the ODS can support additional systems and data domains.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services IT, with at least 3 years as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience with data integration and API-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Operational Data Stores, Data Lakes, and ETL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as CLM (e.g., Fenergo), Core Banking, CRM, and AML and Fraud platforms
  • Experience defining data contracts, schemas, and transformation logic.
  • Hands-on exposure to integration technologies
  • Ability to work closely with data modelers, architects, and developers to translate business data needs into technical deliverables.
