As a member of our dynamic tech team, you will work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders to engage in various aspects of high-quality website design for our clients. Location: Remote.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining responsive websites using web development tools.

• Interacts with team to gather, define, and analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy business needs.

• Performs technical code reviews utilizing constructive feedback.

• Recognize system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.

• Optimize front-end performance and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or (can be substituted for work experience)

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in web development including semantic HTML, modern CSS, Sass, responsive design, and modern JavaScript.

• Familiarity with web accessibility, WCAG, accessibility testing, and best practices.

• Site building knowledge within Drupal (specifically Frontend) including creating content types, views, display modes, choosing and configuring contributed modules, interacting with configuration, etc.

• Theming experience in Drupal 8/9 including creating and modifying Twig templates, creating libraries, managing front-end dependencies, preprocess functions, Drupal Behaviors, etc.

• Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.

• Experience with software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.

• Familiarity with Git version control management as well as other command line tools.

• Ability to work with local Docker-based development environments.

Nice to Haves

• Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Experience with Developer/Build tools including GIT and Jenkins.

• Advanced JavaScript experience.

• Experience with USWDS Framework.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.

This is a Full-Time, W2 position. Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
