TITLE: Full Stack Developer (Jr)
LOCATION: Bedford MA (Onsite)
DURATION: 6 months Contract to Hire

Summary:
Our direct distribution client is looking for several Junior Full Stack Developer with Front to Back End development expertise. The primary function of this position is to be a member of a programming development team responsible for developing and maintaining clients ERP system as well as coding and maintaining Ecommerce and CRM systems.
The successful candidate will have familiarity with Universe applications and development as well as modern development libraries such as React. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP; SQL, JavaScript, PERL, Python, Json/XML, jQuery, Apache, and/or IIS with HTML5, CSS3 would be a plus. Client has a Pick/Universe back-end programming environment using Accuterm as a screen generating tool for GUI development.

Responsibilities:
- Full-stack experience: ability to work with and build back-end and front-end systems in a LAMP stack environment with sound analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Work as a self starter and follow department processes and procedures. Have a strong work ethic and be able to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and modern JS development libraries such as React, as well as knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, Python, Json/XML and jQuery.
- Incorporate SEO items
- Experience developing in Linux, and using program source control systems (SVN/Git, etc)
- Willingness and ability to work with legacy ERP system to meet fast-moving business requirements. Work and interface with Bar-Coding equipment, point of sales credit card equipment and a conveyor belt system
- Familiarity with APIs and application integration techniques
- Knowledge, experience, and interest in distribution business processes and challenges is desired.
