Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Software
Engineer (Level 2) currently residing in Puerto Rico
to join a dynamic team in delivering custom cloud web
applications tailored to meet our aerospace & defense
industry customers' needs.

The selected Software Engineer will be involved in all phases of the software engineering process including, but not limited to:

- Capability/Requirements definition through direct customer interaction
- Design, Development, & Test of a suite of custom UI tools
- Demonstration of applications utilized for long-range program planning

In addition to working development activities, the Software Engineer will also be required to:

- Support the program planning team in
troubleshoot issues
- Debug Software
- Employ continuous improvement

Applicants must currently reside in Puerto Rico and be available for full on-site work at our Puerto Rico facility, located in Aguadilla, PR

Applicant must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

- Proficient in C# (.NET Core/Framework) with a solid grasp of object-oriented design

- Hands-on experience generating PDF documents programmatically and applying dynamic mark-ups, annotations, and digital signatures.

- Demonstrated capacity to break down complex requirements, design logical solutions, and debug efficiently.

Desired skills

- Demonstrated capacity to break down complex requirements, design logical solutions, and debug efficiently.

- Demonstrated ability to integrate COTS solutions (e.g., ERP, CRM, analytics platforms) using APIs, SDKs, and middleware (REST/SOAP services), while ensuring data consistency and minimal disruption.

- Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments (vulnerability scans, penetration tests, risk analyses)

- Experience with Agile methodologies, processes,
and practices

- Use of Git with platforms such as GitLab and Bitbucket, employing modern branching strategies (GitFlow, feature-branch, trunk-based) and code-review processes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to automate builds, tests, and deployments.

- Hands-on experience designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs that follow HTTP best practices, proper versioning, and robust error handling.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)

- Strong analytical mindset and ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
