Job Description
A financial services firm is looking for a UI Developer to join their team in New York, NY.
Pay: $105-110/hr W2
They are looking for a UI/JavaScript engineer with a proven track record of developing and maintaining enterprise-level client-side applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in core front-end technologies. This person must have knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. They operate in the Scrum model, in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain single-page applications with a primary focus on UI
- Assist in the development and maintenance of common UI components for re-use by various applications in the portfolio
- Ensure code is in compliance with the TG's architectural standards and future direction
- Integrate UI functionality with Java back-end
- Collaborate with other members of a cross-disciplinary team operating within the Scrum framework to consistently deliver
- Product improvements according to the guidelines
- Upgrade existing applications and components from Backbone to Vue, Angular or other modern UI framework
Qualifications: Required
- Knowledge of Javascript/HTML/CSS
- Professional experience with a modern JavaScript Framework or Library such as Angular, Vue or React
- Knowledge of source control and build process for front end applications
Desired
- Experience working in Agile environments Bootstrap, Material, data visualization libraries (e.g. High Charts, D3)
- Basic understanding of back-end processes and client-server communication
- Basic understanding of Cloud (AWS or Azure)
- Responsive Design
- Understanding of UX best practices
- Understanding of ADA Compliance
- OOP Design Patterns
